From now on, DSA Daten- und Systemtechnik GmbH in Aachen is strengthening the activities in the Smart Logistics cluster on the RWTH Aachen campus as a matriculated member.
In order to intensify the cooperation with research and to develop new synergy effects, DSA is now committed to the Center Connected Industry and, in future, will work there on future-oriented topics within the logistics supply chain in close cooperation with other participants from research, industry and associations. In the demonstration factory and the innovation labs in the Smart Logistics cluster, the research results can be immediately tested under real conditions.

DSA and Center Connected Industry are jointly working on connected mobility

With the membership in the Center Connected Industry, DSA wants to fulfill its aspiration of actively shaping the automotive industry of the future. The interdisciplinary cooperation creates the best preconditions to find innovative solutions for tomorrow’s vehicle diagnostics, to directly implement them prototypically and, with DSA’s experience and expert knowledge, to be able to contribute to a digital factory. The Center Connected Industry expects to be able to embed the testbed’s mobile assets fully and in detail into the entire information ecosystem from the cooperation with DSA. Using the Future Logistics Initiative as an example, the transport vehicles and means of transportation involved are enabled to communicate states, environmental and transport goods parameters as well as position data in real time to suitable systems. This allows to achieve a new level of information transparency of mobile material flows.

DSA is a global organization with over 500 employees in different subsidiaries. For over 35 years, the company has been known for leading experts in the development of innovative and customer-specific communication solutions for vehicle electronics. Further information here: https://www.dsa.de/en
